The Daylesford Lavender Farm winter 08, what a lovely rustic setting, which of course I have posterized in Photoshop.

I made this artwork for friends, who had their first child in November 09. Precious little Lanie Kate Hyder, was born 8 weeks premature and is much loved and thriving. I chose to cover the letters of Lanie in pretty papers, then embellished them with ribbons, bling etc and added some butterflies too. I painted the canvas in a wash of colour, and stamped Lanie's date of birth on the canvas, embossed the word Baby, and lastly used photoshop to enhance the image.
